The reconstruction is based on forensic information, extensive research with case experts and family, along with interviews from police who were involved in the investigation. With no prior knowledge about the crime, the psychics reveal astounding new information about the victim, case and perpetrator – groundbreaking information that has the potential to break these cases wide open.
Presented by acclaimed Australian actress Rebecca Gibney, Sensing Murder is a 90 minute true crime documentary drama television series.
A NOTE FROM SCOTT:
While Sensing Murder has proved to be a very popular show, of course there are the skeptical detractors, and there always will be when it comes to psychic or spiritual phenomena. That's the way of the world.
The skeptics continue to argue that a psychic has never solved a crime. And you know what. I'm actually going to agree with them. The skeptics are right! That statement is actually true!
BUT!!
Here's why it's true.
ONLY the police have the power or authority to solve a crime. Even when the police have ALL the facts, they still have to build a case, take their evidence to court, and prove it.
Psychics can't solve a case. Nor can a skeptic, or any other member of the public no matter what information they come forward with, even if its the missing key / link / clue to a case. ONLY the police have the authority and power to present a case in a judicial process so that it can be solved or someone prosecuted.

Scott worked on the following episodes:
A Mother's Worst Nightmare
When two and a half year old Amber-Lee Cruickshank disappeared from a holiday home on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, police presumed that she had wandered into the water and drowned. But after police had thoroughly combed the seabed and searched through the surrounding bush and came up empty handed, they were forced to consider the possibility of foul play.
Cruel Intent
The episode revisits three seperate attacks by a Melbourne man, give the name Mr Cruel by police. Two girls, Sharon Wills and Nicola Lynas were kidnapped and eventually released, but a third girl, Karmein Chan was kidnapped and then murdered. Her body was discovered a year after she had disappeared. Mr Cruel has never been caught.
Lost Soul
This episode investigates the disappearance of 25 year old Luana Williams from her home in Tauranga in 1985. Her body has never been found. The psychics attempt to unravel the sinister circumstances that lead to Luana's disappearance with the aim of locating her body.

The alleged killer Vivienne Cameron disappeared without a trace on the same night. Her deserted car was found near the San Remo Bridge on the island. An extensive three day land and sea search failed to locate Vivienne’s body.
The Last Train Home
On the evening of July 11th 1990, 23 year old Sarah MacDiarmid caught a train from Richmond to Kananook station. She had been playing tennis with her friends at Flinders Park. She got off the train about 10.20pm and has never been seen since. Police believe that Sarah was abducted as she walked to her 1978 red Honda civic parked in the Kananook station car park.
Almost Perfect
This episode deals with the case of Elmer Crawford. He appeared to be an average family man, but then in 1970, he murdered his pregnant wife and three children, with no apparent motive. He loaded their bodies into the back of his car and carefully manoeuvred it over a cliff edge to into the sea below. The car was sent over the cliff it hit a small ledge and hung on above the crashing waves. It endured the stormy night hanging on the cliff edge with only a few centimetres of limestone stopping it from falling into the sea, where it would never have been discovered. A Coronial inquest was held in 1971, which found Elmer responsible for the deaths of his family.
Despite numerous reported sightings over the decades since, Elmer Crawford has never been caught.
Into Thin Air
Early one morning In 2004 Jim Donnelly went to the steel mill where he worked as usual and his car was seen arriving around 6am. But he didn’t turn up for his first meeting at 9am. Later work shut down the steel mill and conducted a search and found no trace of him. His car was in the carpark, his lunch on his desk and his belongings in his locker but Jim was nowhere to be found and hasn't been see since.
The Last Goodbye
In the early 1980s six women aged between 14 and 75 were found dead south-east of Melbourne in what became known as the Tynong murders.
Evidence suggested the killings were the work of the same person- Victoria's worst serial killer on record. All of the women had disappeared while waiting for public transport or walking along nearby roads. Despite intensive police efforts, no-one has ever been charged.
